The new Barker Shannon Pavillion.
The building is 114' x 40', and will hold approximately 300 people. It has a
fully equipped kitchen, spacious Men & Women's rest rooms that are air
conditioned, and the large pavillion has ceiling fans and lights.
Besides the 6 permanent tables and attached benches, there are additional
folding table and chairs available.
The Alumni Foundation is preparing to build a new storage building, as the
one off the kitchen has proven to be too small. The new building will hold
the folding tables and chairs, lawn equipment and has space to store
records of the Foundation.

Anyone can rent the pavillion by contacting City Hall at 926-4162.
It rents for $75, with an additional $75 deposit which is returned if
everything is left as it was found. That includes use of the kitchen and
restrooms, and also the additional tables and chairs. It has to be reserved
in advance, as it is much in demand during the warm weather months.
The rent helps on the upkeep of the park.
