Brenda (Stacy) Pridemore - 2010

After graduation Lewis and I became parents. Terrye, our daughter, was born October 1960. Dan and Ken arrived and our children stopped in 1973 when Todd was born.

Terrye and Steve Carter gave us three grandsons and their oldest, John, brought in Ashley, his bride. Loel and Jordan attend MGHS and MGMS.

Dan and Tammy (Bell) contributed five grandchildren. When their older sons, Zachary and Amanda, Nathan and Jessica, and Anthony and Danyiel became parents we are now great grandparents. Their twins, Bethany and Ethen attend MGHS. Ken and Gloria brought Amber and Gregory into our family. Todd and Carolyn have our three youngest grandsons. Meet me at our 50th class reunion and I will let you know how beautiful, talented, smart, and accomplished all our grandchildren and great grandchildren are!

I stopped being a full-time mom and housewife in 1968. But I retired from First Home Savings Bank in 2004. Lewis and I have been blessed with good health. We enjoy family, church, friends, and traveling when the lawn is mowed and the calendar is cleared.

Join us for a time of catching-up at all the MGHS 1960 class activities in July, 2010.

Past Update

Lewis and I still live on Whetstone, the address was changed to our name. We have been here long enough to have a road named in our honor!

We still have the four children, but now up to 10 grandchildren. Todd and Carolyn have not started their family yet. (March, 2000) Kenneth is married and living in San Antonio, so we have a place to vacation. Todd is in Columbia. Terrye and Steve and Dab and Tammy and grandchildren are here, so we can have a meal with them more often.

I am still working at First Home Savings Bank. Lewis is retired. We both stay busy.

I love to visit with people, so that is what I do for my hobby or interest. Church is very important to both of us, so we work together in serving through church activities.

As I cannot recall many things from high school, I don't have any stories, but I really enjoy hearing the ones told by others. Some people have a talent for remembering or making up good stories.
