Don Hutsell - 2010

After school, I went to work at Brown Shoe Co. in 1960.

In Nov. of 1963 I was married and we had 3 children, Michael, Michele, and Marianne.

Working at the Shoe Co. until 1964, we moved to Kansas City where I worked for Nationwide Paper Co. In 1968 I changed jobs and worked for International Harvester Co. until 1974. We moved back to Mtn. Grove and I went in the home improvement business for the next 30 years until I retired.

My marriage came to an end in 1977 and I remarried in 1979 to Geraldine Shelly Lawson. We have been married 31 years and share 6 children, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In 2000 we moved back to my home place. We keep busy by working around our home and going to Attic Best (antique shop) to visit and help out.

Past Update

I have been in the Home Improvement business for the last 26 years and have always lived and worked in the Mountain Grove area.

My wife, Geraldine, and I have 6 grown children and ten grandchildren.

We like to go to garage sales and work in our yard. We are planning on moving back on my Home Place, where we have 120 acres of brush to clean off. This will keep us busy in our retirement years.
