Robert Brown - 2010

Hello Everyone! I hope the last 50 years have been good ones for you.
After graduation, I went to work at the Brown Shoe Co. in Mtn. Grove. I worked there until it closed in 1994. While working there, I met my wife Darlene Tetrick of Dora, Mo. We were married on June 2, 1967. We have been blessed with 43 years together.
We have one daughter, Connie, who graduated with the Class of '86 at M.G.H.S. She works at Dollar General Store here.
In January, 2003, I suffered a severe stroke. I was paralyzed on my left side and was hospitalized until February. I was then moved to the Mo. Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Vernon, Mo. for therapy. I was there until April. The Doctors told me I may not walk again. But there is power in prayer! With God's help, prayers, and faith, I proved them wrong. The same year I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer, but I will concur with that too!
When my health permits, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. We enjoy time with our friends and family.
I attend the Victory Worship Center in Cabool, Mo. and enjoy time with my church family and events.
I am looking forward to seeing you all and attending some of the events in July.
