Steve Romines - 2010

After high school I attended college, graduating from Law School in 1966. Following graduation came one year of teaching at Mizzou, and then enlistment in the Navy. Fortunately for them, I was discharged rather quickly because of an old college football injury. The next four plus years were spent in Washington D.C. working as an attorney for FAA and then a congressional committee.

In 1971, I returned to Mountain Grove (mostly because I had grown to hate life in the big city) to practice law. Shortly after my return, plans changed, however, as I went to work at First Home Savings Bank to help my father...and ended up working there for the next 30 years!

I was married for a while, but had no children. I have been retired since 2001, living in Mountain Grove spending my time reading, golfing, traveling and just generally being a lazy bum.
